Join Tualatin Riverkeepers to remove ivy and blackberry and plant native plants as part of a beaver habitat restoration project!
Helping to restore this backyard urban beaver habitat is a unique opportunity to contribute to a space that provides wildlife and native plant habitat right next to Tigard Public Library and supports rainwater runoff management before reaching Fanno Creek.
This work supports wildlife habitat, water quality, and soil health, and promotes biodiversity!
Snacks, coffee, tools, safety gear, and instruction provided. Please expect to be walking and working on uneven surfaces along a pond bank. This site is accessible via the 76 Trimet bus line.
We would like to thank the Tualatin Soil and Water Conservation District for their support in this project!
Join us for this unique opportunity to learn about these restoration efforts!
